Why Real Estate
From a young age, Marcus gained an affinity for real estate as he helped his parents redevelop properties on their free time away from their professional careers. Being exposed to each phase of the development lifecycle for each property, Marcus developed a vision for identifying neighborhoods and properties positioned to experience high growth in the medium to long term, along with the grit to successfully bring a project to completion.
Upon earning a degree in mechanical engineering at Trinity College, Marcus spent over ten years in construction management with the objective to optimize project efficiency while mitigating risk for the asset’s owners, and investors. To reinforce his foundation as an investor and builder, Marcus pursued an MBA from Porto Business School at the University of Porto. Throughout his academic and professional career, Marcus has built strong relationships in both the U.S. and Portugal, that have helped him throughout his ventures.
